Newburg General Store and Sinclair Filling Station, 1955. The Sinclair HC gas pump appears to be a Bennett 76 manufactured in the 1930s. The Newburg community was six miles west of LaPlata and once called Polkville. There is also a town named Newburg in Phelps County, Missouri.
